Mitch McConnell fractures shoulder when fall in Kentucky home, representative says

Senate legislator Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., suffered a broken shoulder when a fall Sunday morning at his home.

McConnell disabled his shoulder when he tripped and fell whereas on the skin area of his urban center home. The specifics of his injury, like that shoulder was disabled, wasn’t disclosed.

“This morning, Leader McConnell tripped reception on his outside area and suffered a broken shoulder,” David Popp, McConnell’s communications director, same during a statement.

The 77-year-old was treated and discharged and is functioning from his home, Popp said.
