Quetta Gladiators defeated Islamabad united by 43 runs
Abu Dhabi: Quetta’s Gladiators defeated Pakistanabad united by 43 runs in the 26th match of the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League.
Quetta Gladiators played for the first time to target Islamabad united 181 for the wicket, but Islamabad’s 137 runs in the fixed overs.
In the Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium, Islamabad united the toss and invited Quetta Gladiators to bat first.
Quetta scored an innings by Shane Watson and Ahmed Shehzad but Shane Watson scored 15 runs in the 24-over overall.
Gladiators made 180 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the 20 overs. Quetta hit Ahmed Shahzad 73, Umar Akmal 27 and Ravi 23 runs.
Fahim Ashraf of Islamabad united 4 and Umadat Butt out 3 players.
In response, the Islamabad team made 137 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs, Luke Ronich became prominent in 64 runs.
