The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) launched the song ‘Vibra continente’, composed by the Colombian Karol G and the Brazilians Leo Santana and Rafinha RSQ for the Copa América 2019, which starts on June 14.
With a mix of Latin rhythms and funk, “Vibra continente” fuses Portuguese and Spanish and appeals to the “union” of the region, “giving meaning to the movements of the ball and to each country in Latin America,” highlighted the Conmebol .

The melody has the seal of Karol G, a “Latin music singer”, as she defines herself, which she has recorded with artists such as Luis Fonsi, J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Bad Bunny, Nick Jonas, Quavo, Maluma and Ozuna. and is supervised by the Brazilian Anitta.
The Colombian artist won the Latin Grammy last year as the best new artist and recently released her new album “Ocean”.

“I never imagined that one day I would be part of a song as important as it is for the Conmebol Copa America, a sporting event in which many countries participate, especially mine, which I am proud to represent,” said Karol G, quoted in a statement.

Leo Santana is part of a generation of new singers of the genre ‘sertanejo’ and is known for singles like “Crush Bloggerinha”.

“It is a totally challenging job for me, because it is something that will travel the entire world, in which many people will be able to know the best of our work,” said Leo Santana.

According to the organizers of the event, the videoclip, directed by Thiago Calviño, values the fans, one of the main protagonists of this sporting event, “in order to transmit the energy of music, joy and admiration to a sport that unites peoples and countries “.
The concept, according to the Conmebol, aims to translate into images the relationship of the people with football, “illustrated by children playing ball, party with people of all ethnicities, with lots of music and dance, in a warm and cheerful climate ”
